Getting started
- How do I post a task?
- Click Post your needs, describe the job, set a budget and location. Nearby helpers will send offers within minutes.
- Do I need an account?
- You can browse anonymously, but you need a free account to post tasks, make offers, and chat.
- How much does it cost to post?
- Posting is free. You only pay the helper's agreed price once the task is complete.
Safety & trust
- How are helpers verified?
- Helpers go through ID verification. Look for the blue verified badge on their profile before accepting an offer.
- How do I stay safe when meeting a helper?
- Meet in a well-lit place, tell someone where you'll be, and keep all chat inside GigsLo so we can help if something goes wrong.
- How do I report a problem?
- Open the task chat and tap the report button, or email support@gigslo.com with the task link.
Payments
- When do I pay?
- Payment is held securely when you accept an offer and released to the helper only when you confirm the task is done.
- Which payment methods are accepted?
- Visa, Mastercard and most local debit cards through our secure card processor.
- How do helpers get paid?
- Helpers connect their bank account once. Released payments arrive within 1–2 business days.
- Can I get a refund?
- If the task isn't done as agreed, don't release payment — open the dispute flow from the task page and we'll help resolve it.
For helpers
- How do I start earning?
- Complete your profile, pick your categories and areas, then browse tasks or wait for matching alerts.
- How do offers work?
- You can accept the poster's budget or send a counter-offer with your own price and a short message explaining why.
- How are ratings calculated?
- After each completed task the poster leaves a 1–5 star rating and a comment. Your average shows on your public profile.
Communication & notifications
- Where do I chat with the other party?
- Open the task from My Tasks and use the chat tab. Keep all messages inside GigsLo for your safety.
- How do I control notifications?
- Open Profile → Notifications to turn types on/off, set quiet hours and enable browser push.
